I had grand plans for Father's Day this year. They involved brunch, bowling & baseball. Then Heidi got sick and we ended up improvising. We just stayed home for the day (well, Mark & Allison went to church, I kept Heidi home). The girls had presents for Mark; a stowaway kite & kids' golf set (before anyone judges my present selection - note that Mark just bought himself a Vitamix & pre-ordered an X-box - they absolved me of buying any gifts for this year!)

After a little hike through our neighborhood woods we had a dinner at home and ice cream. Heidi might have gotten a little taste of ice cream much to her mother's dismay.
And Mark gave Allison her first golf lesson. We are all very, very thankful to have Mark in our lives! He is a wonderful husband and father and we couldn't ask for more!
