Last summer we took Allison to the beach on her birthday. She frequently mentioned that she wanted to go back to the beach this year for her birthday. We took her to the Seattle area instead and the whole family had a great time. So much fun that I hardly took any pictures. It is hard to take pictures when you are playing duck-duck-goose on the trampoline....
We spent Friday night and Saturday morning with the Easley clan (extended Easleys included). It was so much fun to enjoy pizza (gluten-free pizza for Mark even) with the extended family. Allison had a great time playing with the kids and crashed long before the others went home or went to bed. The next day we got a tour of the Easley 'farm' and had lots of play time. We also got a picture of our birthday buddies - Heidi & Phoebe were born on the same day! January 22 is quite popular. They didn't actually spend much time together with all the napping but we did manage to get a few pics!
Then we headed north to Seattle to meet up with miss Leslie, who is a huge family favorite. Grammy met us up there, too, along with a set of Alaskan Aunts. We enjoyed walking with the whole crew and dinner. Allison loved all of the attention (and another bike dress from Grammy). With the combination of Leslie and Grammy, Allison was super spoiled for the weekend. I actually had a hard time getting a good picture of her with Leslie, she was so distraught to be leaving her. We stopped to feed Heidi and stretch our legs on our way home....Allison woke up and immediately started crying telling us she didn't want to leave Miss Leslie. We all wish we lived closer!
