Mark has grand hopes that golf will be Allison's 'sport.' So it is always encouraging when she takes an interest to go out and play golf. Maybe next time she'll remember what he tries to teach her about how to hold the club.
Of course, if she actually called it 'golf' rather than baseball that would help matters.
And realizing that a bicycle helmet is NOT actually REQUIRED to play might help, too.
But then the whole experience wouldn't be nearly as entertaining.
