We welcomed the new year in the best way possible - with a trip to a local recreation area to enjoy some time in the great outdoors. The weather was fabulous, not too cold and just slightly windy with the sun shining through fog. The snow was not abundant but was adequate for playing in. We are so thankful for days like these in the midst of a dreary and rainy winter and we look forward to more in 2012!
Our girl loves the snow, even the sledding on this trip although it took some warming up!
Ah yes, our good friends, the Wagners joined us on this adventure. It is always more fun with friends along. Especially when there is a small snowball fight to be enjoyed!

Hmmm...do you think someone needs to learn how to steer?
Nate said Bekah would be walking next year, but with a Mama like that I'm thinking Bekah can ride up for another 10 years or so, don't you think?
This girl is such a joy to be around. Allison absolutely adores her and I love her fun-loving attitude! This girl was made for fun!
