One of Allison's (and mine!) favorite parts of our Denali trip was the Jr Ranger program. We checked out a backpack that was full of books and information as well as some activities for her and Jonathan to do. They also each had an activity book to work through - which earned them a Jr Ranger badge. Their favorite activity from the backpack was testing the lake water near our cabin - measuring the pH and temperature and observing some lovely little 'bugs' swimming around. They can't wait to earn their next Jr. Ranger badge!
