While we were in Alaska my friend Anita's baby girl, Stefanie, was born! It was so fun to be able to be there and see the sweet little newborn. And I had brought along the fabric to make her a quilt - which I started and finished during our 10 days in Alaska - whew! I was feeling pretty brave picking out these fabrics myself rather than using a 'set.' Some were busier than they probably should have been for the pattern but overall it is a pretty fun one. And I put a nice soft minky fabric on the back - which makes it extra cuddly and warm. Can't wait to get some more snuggles at Christmas!
