Heidi is over a week old already. So far she has settled in to be a fairly content little baby, only crying when there is something amiss (most often a soiled diaper!). She will fairly regularly go 4 hours between feedings at night. And we're starting to have some alert time during the day. She is starting to make eye contact and study our faces when she is awake, it is fun to watch her take it all in.
We've also taken to afternoon walks. She gets bundled up and looks like she belongs in 'A Christmas Story' but she doesn't seem to mind, she's usually passed out asleep before we even step out the door all snuggled into her Baby Bjorn. Now if we can just get a bit more January sunshine!
