It just wouldn't be a trip to Alaska without a hike up to Gold Cord Lake. The Frey's and 'Big Heidi' were able to join us. And we were all glad Big Heidi was there as she helped (carried) Anna up the big rocks. But for the most part - the rest of the way up and the entire way down Anna hiked on her own and was quite the trooper. Of course she had me totally figured out and knew I'd give her more snacks if she just kept going....! :) (Photos are a mix of phone & big camera - hence some are duplicates!)
