This girl turns EIGHT this week. Hard to believe she is that old. I think this is the first year she has her two front adult teeth - and it makes her look so much older. She loves playing outside, reading and math. This year she did gymnastics, swimming, basketball and piano (not all at the same time!) and enjoyed them all enough she wants to do them over again next year. We've also decided that for her age she seems to have watched an awful lot of basketball - she's able to follow games pretty well. Not sure if that is a good thing or not! And she loves playing with friends - young and old - and will dive head first into all of the drama (although admittedly it is usually to help someone, not generating her own). We had fun celebrating her this weekend!
She's pretty surprised and excited about her new bike - we've taken it on a few rides on the trails around our neighborhood and are looking forward to lots more.
