My Mom & I took the girls to Anchorage one afternoon while the guys (and Brittney!) were fishing. We met up with my Anchorage Aunts & one of my cousins for a walk/hike along Powerline Pass hunting for blueberries. We did eventually find a field of them; although admittedly they weren't as plentiful as we had hoped and since we had to walk awhile to find them we didn't have a lot of time to pick them. Mom still made blueberry pancakes & muffins for us before we left. Oh - and Aunt Krys & Aunt Joan were the super-stars of this 'hike' - they took turns hauling Heidi in the backpack!
Brenna was a big favorite for both girls.
See all those blue spots low to the ground? Not quite the same as picking domestic blueberries in Oregon!
