I finished my first quilt of 2014! This one was for a sweet little girl who came home almost exactly a year ago from Russia. We celebrated her homecoming this past weekend with her family. I was really excited when a fabric line came out featuring matryoshka dolls and was so excited to use it in a quilt. I used a quilt pattern out of the 'Growing Up Modern' book and I love how it turned out. I wanted to do slightly more complex quilting but I ran out of time!
