A Princess and a Superhero!

 We had a busy Saturday - starting the day with a birthday party for a little friend (and making cards for her before we headed out!).  Heidi thought the party warranted a special hat - or crown.  She wore it most of the day until she traded it in for a party hat!

 The party was at a park with a huge slide, big fields and tons of crafts.  Allison loved making every last thing so by the time she was done she had quite the get-up.

 Have to get a pic of sweet little Aili in the skirt I made - I decided skirts are the best gifts for b-day parties for little girls :)

 We spent the rest of the day back home 'working' in the yard.  Some of us working harder than others!

 This little girl is always doing something.....She is growing into quite the mini-adult!

Study Buddy

 Last November, during my quilting weekend with Leslie, I bought several charm packs of a fun bicycle fabric line.  I thought they would be perfect for my nephew, Cason.  I made a patchwork chevron quilt for him - on his way for his birthday just a little late.  I love the orange bicycle to match his own!

Swimsuit Weather

 The sun has been out in full force for the last week or so.  We did have a few days in the 70s......but the girls got their swimsuits on for today - with a high in the low 60s.  Heidi spent her time making towel beds all over the yard (perfect for pictures).

Spring Seedlings

 The girls got a few different seedling kits for Easter and we finally started with them today!  Heidi always surprises me with her attention span - how long she'll continue to sit and work on a project.
