The Car/Plane

 Allison was waiting for a big box to turn it into a car like her friend Annie had done.  We finally had one that was the right size....but she decided to turn it into 1/2 car and 1/2 airplane.  She had a lot of fun flying/driving around in it!

Geronimo Stilton

 Last weekend we took the girls to the OCT performance of Geronimo Stilton.  It is hard to believe Heidi is big enough to be coming to these - we started going when Allison was the same age - and before I was even pregnant with Heidi!  They loved the show - Allison is definitely able to understand the whole story line better than Heidi, though :)

 Heidi loved the picture of the kitty - and kept showing us how the kitty was holding his finger when he was thinking.

 We tried to go to Petunia's for a treat - but they were closed for a private party.  Good thing there was a cupcake shop the next block up!  They were really, really yummy cupcakes.

Phone Photo Update

It was about time to upload the pictures from my camera. 

 This girl is growing up too fast.

 I ended up with a nasty cold over MLK jr weekend.  We stayed home instead of going to Bend like we had planned.  Which meant we were able to go to the Stanford game.  And it was so very good.  We're glad there was still something fun to do!

 We finally took a trip to a trampoline park!  With our friends Jonathon and Anna - who were moving to Alaska the very next day!

 Our Treager grill had an untimely death last week.  Mark had vegetables in a foil pan that caught fire - and caught the whole grill on fire.  We use this thing almost daily....so there is a fancy new one now living in the garage - that can even be controlled from a phone!?!?

Finished in 2016 No.3

 This has to be one of my all time favorite fabric collections - so I decided I needed to keep one of the quilts with it for myself.  I had this one pieced this fall and then it went to a quilters - I got it back just before Christmas.  I finally finished the binding this week.  This is the first time I've used a medium density quilt pattern (I usually use low density).  The 'Scottish Thistle' pattern matched the fabric so well - I love how it turned out.  This one is now living on my quilt rack!
