Finished in 2016 No. 1

 I've been working on this quilt for well over a year now - I had actually hoped to have it done for LAST Christmas.  These pink and grey houses are now on Allison's bed and she adores them.  I actually had it quilted by a quilter in Eugene back in April - it has been sitting in my closet since then waiting for a binding....which I put the finishing touches on earlier this week.  Heidi has a coordinating one coming soon!

OOOOO SSSSSSS UUUUUUUUUUUUUU

 The girls have been practicing their OSU cheer(s) along with some fabulous ballet moves.  They keep us entertained.  Oh, and Heidi, she does the best 'O S U - Oregon State - FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!' cheer you ever did hear.  They are ready for the W's bball civil war on Friday night!

The Farm with Friends

 We have three friends staying at the farm for a family wedding - along with all their kids.  We spent an afternoon catching up.  Allison loved getting more time with her friend, Evie and the entire crew.  She and Heidi played upstairs all afternoon.  And she ended the day with a 4-wheeler-ride.

New Year's Snow Day 2015

We started 2015 with our annual tradition of a trip to the snow.  This year we headed east instead of west to the Cascades as Mary's Peak was so busy after Christmas.  The Wagners came along and we started with a little snowshoeing adventure - Heidi riding in her own little rented sled.

 Then we headed down to find a sledding hill - we found a little one just off the highway and had it pretty much to ourselves - the snow was deep, perfect for sledding.

 Heidi is our die-hard sledder - she ends almost every run with a mischievous laugh and then asks to go again.  She had Mr. Nate taking up and down the hill for quite some time!

Allison rode down with Miss Jodi - and ended up with a face full of snow! :)

These two were totally wiped out at the end of the day!

Fall 2015 Family Pics

 We actually had family pictures taken this fall - it was getting a little too tricky for me to try to set them up myself.  The girls were great for the photographer and had fun - she even let them take some of the pictures!
